What a magnificent effort our members and supporters made to show their objections to the proposal for a new building in the Sydney Harbour National Park and their support for the far better option of an Environment Education Centre in the Ten Terminal buildings not far away.
Thank you to all those who attended the meetings and wrote submissions. The NSW Education Department and the National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) can be in no doubt that this new building is something that the community strongly opposes.
The matter is not finished with. We have further work to do and will keep members and supporters informed of progress.
